Glenn C. Moore Elementary will begin school on August the 13th. We will follow the approved school calendar. You will find it at npsok.org under documents. School hours will continue to be from 8:05 am -3:15 pm.
You may enroll in our traditional school. You will do this when you receive an email from the school. If you have not contacted the school with an updated email, please do so. In the link below you will find a document titled Incorporating Flexibility. This contains information on procedures due to the recent pandemic.
If you would like your student to complete Nowata’s Virtual Distance Learning program, you will still need to enroll and also fill out a form Nowata Elementary Virtual Learning. In the first week of August, we will contact you with information on the distance learning path. If you start the distance path and decide it is not for you at the completion of each nine weeks you may transfer to the traditional path. Distance learning will be online and monitored by a grade-level teacher. You will have contact with the teacher and may obtain additional help. In the lower grades, materials may need to be picked up that will allow the student to practice skills that are not online. This will occur as needed. The programs we will be using are Exact Path and Google Classroom.
If you are not able to enroll online, July 30 you may come to Nowata Elementary and enroll in person. The office will be open from 9 am-3 pm and then again that evening from 5 pm-7 pm.
The office will be open to parents during the week of August 3rd to August 6th from 9 am-3 pm.
We will also be open on August 4th from 5 pm-7 pm for an evening enrollment time.
