MUSIC BOOSTER MEETING UPDATE
Hello Everyone! The Music Booster Meeting for this evening has been CANCELLED due to several officers being sick. The meeting will now take place on Tuesday November 8th at 6:00 pm in the band room. I do apologize for the short notice but appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.

A HUGE shout out to Mr. James Vestal, Mr. Chris Tanner and Mr. Homer Johnston for loading up a bus of cheerleaders, football players and basketball players to come watch and support the Marching Ironmen today. It meant A LOT to us to have the support from both the school and the kids!!!!
Mrs. Scott’s Biology students were using DNA Gel Electrophoresis to compare the DNA of cattle, in order to determine which had the genetics to produce milk with the highest protein content!

The Marching Ironmen participated at the Beggs Invitational were they received 1st in class 3A Gold, Best Drum Major for class 3A and 2nd place Drumline for class 3A. Today in Coach Hewitt’s 6th grade ELA class members of the community came into listen and give feedback to students on their modern day fairytales. Their stories will soon be published!!
Congratulations to the Marching Ironmen on a very succesful day at competition. The Marching Ironmen participated at the Coffeyville Dalton Defenders Day Marching Festival. The Band received an Excellent Rating and the Espirt De Corps Award for most spirited and enthusiastic band of the day. Great job Marching Ironmen. #ironmenexcellence #IronmenPride

Jr high football will have 2 games this week, Tuesday @ OKU at 6:30 and Thursday Vs Caney Valley at 5:30!
Congratulations to the Marching Ironmen. The Marching Ironmen participated at the Glenpool Blue and Grey Classic where they placed 3rd in class 3A Blue and earned a seat in the top 12 advancing them to finals. In finals with a score of 184 the Marching Ironmen placed 12th. Congratulations on a job well done!!!!
The Marching Ironmen took 3rd place in class 3ABlue and has made it into the top 12 at Glenpool Blue and Grey Classic. We are the first to perform this evening in Finals. Our final performance is at 7:00 pm. Lets Go Marching Ironmen. #ironmenexcellence #IronmenPride

Nowata Varsity Softball is playing tomorrow at Chelsea at 4:30. It’s a game to help keep them sharp for Regionals which are at 12:00 on Thursday in Silo.
Congratulations to the Marching Ironmen for a great start to their competitive season. The Marching Ironmen participated at Oologah's Stallion Battalion where they received 2nd Place in class 2A, 2nd place Drumline for class 2A and 3rd place Drum Major for class 2A.
The Marching Ironmen will perform at Glenpool's Blue and Gray Classic next Saturday October 1st.
No Football game tonight at Caney Valley. Officials failed to show. Game will not be made up. Goes in as a forfeit for Caney Valley and a win for Nowata.
Parent-teacher conferences will be Monday, Sept. 26th 3:30 to 7:30 and Tuesday, Sept. 27th 3:30-5:30. Middle school parents please contact the middle school office to schedule a parent-teacher conference.

Thursday: It’s playoff time!! Varsity Softball at 2:00PM vs Warner. Have to play best 2 out of 3. Game times approx 2-4, 4-6, and 6-8 if needed. Please come out and support these ladies as they make their way into the postseason. Go Lady Ironmen!
