8th graders went to the Junior Achievement Career Exploration Fair on March 2nd at the Tulsa Expo Center. They were able to explore several different careers with companies that created hands-on interactive exhibits.

GOOD NEWS for High school and middle school students-There will be student tickets available for the 8:00 game tonight. These tickets are free to students that arrive by 7:30 and sit in the student section. There are a limited number of tickets so tickets are first come, first serve. Come support your Ironmen...Go Ironmen, Beat Ketchum!!!

Regional Ticket Update:
The OSSAA is using an online option for buying tickets. You can pay cash at the gate, however it will be $10. It is cheaper to pay online. I have attached a link to a QR code below. If you can not access it, we will have it at the gate tonight so you can buy online before entering or you can go to ossaa.com and look at the how to purchase online tickets tab. It should be a red button showing how to purchase go fan tickets.

OSSAA Updates:
The Choir Festival has been postponed and the OSSAA is working on a new date for the festival.
The Vocal Ensemble has been rescheduled for March 4th.
The Regional Basketball tournament hosted in Nowata has been moved to Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. Game times for Saturday are 4 pm, 5:30 pm, 7 pm and 8:30 pm. We will update times for Monday and Tuesday at a later time.

FINAL UPDATE FOR CHOIR EVENTS THIS WEEKEND.
Hello Parents and Students here are the updates for this weekend Choir events.
NEO Choir Festival scheduled for Friday Feb. 25th for both MS and HS Choir has been CANCELED. The directors at NEO are looking to possibly reschedule for a date in March or April. But tomorrow's competition is CANCELED.
OSSAA Vocal Solo Ensemble scheduled for Saturday Feb. 26th in Pryor has been CANCELED and RESCHEDULED for Friday March 4th.
Please everyone keep safe and warm this weekend. I will have new letters sent home on Monday for our Solo Ensemble Students. As soon as I get a new date for the NEO Festival I will let everyone know.

Nowata Public Schools will be closing early today, due to the deteriorating road conditions. We will remain closed on Thursday February 24, stay warm and safe.

The OSSAA has updated dates and times for the Regional Tournament. There will be NO games Thursday. The games will now be played on Friday, Saturday and Monday. Friday's game times are 4 pm, 5:30 pm, 7 pm and 8:30 pm. At this time, the Saturday and Monday game times are 1:30 pm, 3 pm, 6:30 pm and 8 pm. We will post updated brackets when they are available. We will share any new updates as they become available.

Varsity basketball games only tonight at Oklahoma Union. The girls start at 7 pm with the boys game following immediately after.

Kolin Ivie, Jazmyn Ortiz-Velez and Fallyn Nicholas are representing Nowata with pride at 2022 MEOBDA Honors Band Concert.
Kolin received 6th chair trumpet in the 7th grade Band, Fallyn received 3rd chair Horn in the JH Band and Jazmyn received 6th chair Flute in the HS Band.
Congratulations all of you on a job well done!
