Nowata High School is proud to announce that last semester our 21 concurrently enrolled students successfully completed a combined 117 college credits. Our combined grade point average was 3.38.

Varsity Tutors Scholarship

Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $200 college scholarship contest where students must write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. Visitors to the Varsity Tutors scholarship webpage are able to vote via social media for submitted entries. The five entries with the most votes are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner is subsequently chosen to receive the $200 college scholarship.

FFA students partnered with Kindergarten today to decorate engraved ornaments for Christmas!




The Nowata Music Department presents their Winter Concert on Thursday December 16th at 7:00 pm in the MS Gym. Admission is free. We hope you will join us as the Beginning Band, MS Band, HS Band, MS Choir and HS Choir kick of this Holiday Season with a night filled with the sounds of the season and maybe even a little bit of holiday magic.

Congratulations to the Nowata High School Band for receiving Best Non-Profit Float in the Nowata Christmas Parade on Saturday December 11th. Each section of the band dressed in a particular theme and their instruments as well as themselves lite up for the night time parade.
