Not a sound could be heard today at Nowata High School as the Journey of Hope presented the tragedy of the OKC Bombing. The architect of the memorial presented the symbolism and meaning of the design of the OKC Memorial.
Following their presentation, members of FFA and Student Council helped the US Forestry department plant a sapling from The Survivor Tree in front of Nowata Public Schools!

Good morning, Nowata!
We want to sincerely thank each and every one of you who took the time to vote and support our bond issue. Your belief in our students, staff, and the future of Nowata Public Schools means the world to us.
This is more than just a bond—it's a commitment to our kids, our teachers, and the long-term growth of our community. We are grateful, humbled, and excited to get to work on the improvements that will benefit generations to come.
Thank you for believing in us. We do not take this trust and commitment lightly.
With a sincere and grateful heart,
Tim Simpson, Superintendent
