Good evening parents!
It was a chilly morning and there were lots of cold kiddos out at morning recess. Just a friendly reminder to send a jacket or hoodie to school for these cold mornings. It might be time to break out the fall weather clothing! We want them dressed appropriately for recess and other outside activities. Thank you!

The Marching Ironmen was presented today with the Joanne Johnson Fan Favorite Award by Mrs. Johnson herself. The Band won this award at the Glenpool Blue and Gray Marching Competition this past Saturday. Out of the 20 participating bands Nowata was voted Fan Favorite show by the audience. It was a great honor to receive this award. It is a personal best as this is the first time the Marching Ironmen was voted Fan Favorite. Congratulations Marching Ironmen on a job well done. Mrs. Johnson also spent sometime listening to the band perform and offer her suggestions on helping the band excel to the next level.

For those traveling to tonight's varsity football game at Quapaw, they have limited seating so it would be wise to bring chairs! They just ask that you try to stay even with the bleachers and not get too close to the field for safety reasons!
